UNSERE ZIELE: Die Forschungsgruppen um Bruno Streit (Abteilung Ökologie und Evolution) analysieren natürliche und anthropogene Veränderungen regional und weltweit unter Anwendung evolutionsbiologischer Konzepte und modernster Methoden. Die Themenschwerpunkte liegen in den Bereichen Umweltforschung, Evolutionsökologie und Verhaltensanalysen. Ziel ist ein besseres Verständnis des weltweiten biologischen Wandels.        
                   
OUR OBJECTIVES: Bruno Streit's research unit (Department of Ecology and Evolution) studies the effects of natural and man-made changes in ecosystems and populations by applying concepts from evolutionary biology and by using molecular techniques. Major topics are environmental research, evolutionary ecology and behavioral analyses. We aim at understanding and explaining aspects of the global biological change.
