This directory contains 

Reprint of the Schmeling 1985 paper on effective moduli 
of a partially molten rock, in which typos in the appendix 
are corrected

directory "routines" which contains matlab routines to 
calculate effective moduli as a function of melt fraction

the content of the directory "routins" packed in .rar format

You may download the matlab routines to your own diractory 
and start the program by running the routine Moduli_GUI.m. 
This routine opens an interface which is more or less 
self-explaining. The routine Moduli_commandline.m does the 
similar thing, but on command line mode. Please send a short 
note to me (schmeling@geophysik.uni-frankfurt.de), so that 
we know that the package is used or tested elsewhere. 
In that case we can also inform you about updates and corrections. 

The code has been written by Jan Philipp Kruse 
(jp.kruse@gmail.com). The code is in a beta-stage, so please 
report all bugs or problems to Jan Philipp Kruse or H Schmeling 
(schmeling@geophysik.uni-frankfurt.de). We do not guarantee 
that everything is correct, but we think that we successfully reproduced 
the results published in the original paper. J.P. Kruse wrote the code 
based entirely on the original equations given there (with the 
corrections in the appendix).
