pdfwin.sty

The pdfwin package can be used for presentations on conferences or seminars. The package provides three prefined windows (e.g. text window and navigation panel) which are widely customizable. Look at an example (a talk given in Bucharest in March 2003; 1.1 MB) to see the power of my package.

Available for download:

Unfortunately, there is no manual yet; refer to the sample document and the well commented source code of my package.

Important note: You should use pdflatex to create presentations with pdfwin.sty. The 'normal' way (latex: TEX -> DVI, dvips: DVI -> PS, pstopdf: PS -> PDF) should also work, but some special PDF commands are not guaranteed to survive the conversions; e.g. the page transition (PageDissolve) commands usually do not work. See also my page on LaTeX vs. pdfLaTeX.

fraktur.sty

The fraktur package can be used for typesetting in broken fonts (fraktur fonts) that were used in many countries before antiqua fonts nearly made them vanish completely. Some Postscript-Typ1-fonts made by the companies Delbanco, Lindenthal und Typographer Mediengestaltung are supported. Most of these fonts are commercial (i.e. not free).

The installing instructions are only available in German. Refer to the links above to download the package. If you are only interested in how fraktur fonts look like, then download FrakTestKant.pdf, which shows the application of my package for typesetting a famous text written by the philosopher Immanuel Kant.
