Paata Demurishvili: piano
Paata plays the piano since the age of four. At the age of fourteen he won his first great competition. He studied piano and composition at the "Conservatory for Talented Students" in Tiblissi. He was eelcted under the frist three best concert piano players of th former USSSR at the age of 22 years. He played with known musicians like Art Blakey and leads his on project "Bach meets Jazz".
The "Mannheimer Morgen" wrote: "Demurishvili is an outstandig virtuoso - he combines the details of expression of a classical concert piano player with the necessary feeling for swinging toughness."
Mihai Farcas: drums
Mihai studied harmony, percussion, piano, and arrangement at the Conservatory Of Classical Music in Temeschwar. Numerous engagements at international festivals, e.g. the Jazzfestival Frankfurt in 1999, CD-,TV-, radio- und live productions with musicians like Philip Catherine, Christian Escoud�, Didier Lockwood, Ralf Illenberger, a.m.o. acompany his musical career. He teaches drums at the St�dtischen Musikschulen in Mannheim and in Heppenheim.
Mike Guttera: Contrabass
Mike`s musical education began at the st�dtschen Musikschule in Ellwangen, with the instruments contrabass and concertguitar. At the same time he studied popular music and jazz. Besides engagements in different musical projects he developes and makes musical instruments which often lead to topics of conversation during concerts. After attaining his Master Of Science degree he started working as a professional musician. He is founder and leader of the SILENT MUSIC TRIO.
